Details

I just love the colour combination of green and gold, especially at Christmas. This design has been inspired by the deep green holly leaves that I am now suddenly more aware of being so close to Christmas, even though the plant is evergreen and beautiful all year round.

Each card has been handprinted from a hand-carved lino-block of my holly design onto quality card blanks. This set contains four Christmas cards with matching envelopes, two forest green and two off white cards printed in a beautiful metallic gold ink. These are not digitally printed but include four original artworks!

Each card is 6" square and blank inside for your own message and will be sent in a cello bag. I've intentionally left 'chatter' (the ink marks around the design) for added handmade authenticity. As these are hand-printed in small batches, please allow for subtle variations in colour and ink markings, which make every print truly unique. This is the joy of handmade art!

Packaging and Delivery

Your print is unframed and will arrive in a compostable cello sleeve with a grey board backing to keep it safe and beautifully presented. It also makes a lovely, ready‑to‑gift package if you're treating someone special. Prints are posted in a sturdy board‑backed envelope, and all packaging is fully recyclable—kind to your artwork and the environment.

how to care for your print

To keep your linocut print looking its best, store or display it away from direct sunlight, moisture and extreme temperatures, as these can cause fading or warping over time. If you’re not framing it right away, keep it flat in its protective sleeve or between clean sheets of acid‑free paper. When framing, use a mount or mat to prevent the print from touching the glass. With just a little care, your handmade print will stay beautiful for many years to come.
