Details
This particular piece is being sold as a second it’s still a beautiful print, but it doesn’t quite meet my usual high standards due to a few small imperfections. Because of that, I’m offering it at a reduced price. Please do take a moment to look closely at the photos, where I’ve pointed out any tiny flaws, and have a read through the description below for more details. I want you to feel completely happy with your purchase.
I've listed this original linocut as a second because it's a little 'salty' which means the ink appears mottled rather than flat in some areas.. Other than that, it looks lovely and you might even enjoy the extra handmade character these tiny quirks give the piece! The print is made on beautiful handmade paper, which has a translucent quality where you can see all the natural fibres. It also features a deckled edge that makes each piece feel truly special. The print measures approximately 21.5 x 26 cm, though this doesn't account for the wispy edges which make it slightly larger!
This kind of print looks wonderful in a glass-backed frame or a hanging wooden magnetic poster frame, which allows the paper itself to shine. As this is a second, it is unsigned and will be posted in a sturdy hard-backed envelope to keep it safe on its way to you.
Packaging and Delivery
Your print is unframed and will arrive in a compostable cello sleeve with a grey board backing to keep it safe and beautifully presented. It also makes a lovely, ready‑to‑gift package if you're treating someone special. Prints are posted in a sturdy board‑backed envelope, and all packaging is fully recyclable—kind to your artwork and the environment.
how to care for your print
To keep your linocut print looking its best, store or display it away from direct sunlight, moisture and extreme temperatures, as these can cause fading or warping over time. If you’re not framing it right away, keep it flat in its protective sleeve or between clean sheets of acid‑free paper. When framing, use a mount or mat to prevent the print from touching the glass. With just a little care, your handmade print will stay beautiful for many years to come.
